GEARCALC
GEARCALC is a software for sizing and rating cylindrical gears, which is intuitive and simple to use, yet very powerful in it’s application. Three parts offer sophisticated algorithms to the engineer to successfully accomplish his task:
GEARCALC designs maximum-capacity gearsets that have minimum volume and weight.
RATE2001 is the implementation of the complete method from the AGMA to rate a given set of gears.
LUBE925 is used to rate the probability of scoring and to obtain information about the situation concerning lubrication.

GEARCALC which was produced and distributed by GEARTECH Software, a company
founded and run by Robert Errichello. In tight cooperation, the Swiss specialist
for technical calculation software KISSsoft
AG and GEARTECH have developed the current version using the same sophisticated algorithms for sizing gears but with a modern and highly efficient user interface.
